• My art songs and song cycles are informed by my own years of vocal training. I received my bachelor's degree in vocal performance and have sung in many operas and concerts in and after college. My songs may at times ask for dexterity, but they treat the voice as a voice and not just as another instrument. Besides that (putting aside modesty), audiences love to hear these songs. They are not stark or esoteric, they are an expression of soulful contemplation, my wonder at all things spiritual, and my own personal joy in singing.
